This past weekend, Pure Wakesurf proudly hosted ChattaWake, and what an incredible success it was! With over 100 wakesurf competitors, ChattaWake became the largest wakesurf competition of the entire season, bringing together athletes, families, and more than 20,000 fans for an unforgettable three-day celebration of surf, sport, and community.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Ross’s Landing in Chattanooga, the venue was nothing short of spectacular. From sunrise to sunset, the riverfront came alive with action—not only from world-class wakesurfing but also from the energy of the River Games Chattanooga and the jaw-dropping spectacle of Red Bull Creepers. It was non-stop excitement, with the crowd cheering from morning through the evening.
For Pure Wakesurf, the event was especially meaningful. Many of our Pure Team Riders competed and landed on the podium, showcasing the hard work, passion, and talent that defines our family.

Beyond the Podium
ChattaWake wasn’t just about the competition, it was about celebrating the sport we love. From families lining the riverfront, to kids cheering on their favorite riders, to the electric buzz created by our partners at River Games and Red Bull, the atmosphere was one of community, energy, and pure fun. Hosting this event was an honor for Pure Wakesurf, and seeing the growth of wakesurfing right here in Chattanooga inspires us to keep pushing the sport forward.
To every competitor, sponsor, volunteer, and fan who made ChattaWake possible - thank you! This was more than a competition. It was a movement.
We’re already counting down the days until next year.
None of this would have been possible without our amazing sponsors! Thank you!!
